Packaging for Smaller Parcel Shipments: A Guideline

Regular shipping units are corrugated shipping containers with a capacity of more than 450 cubic inches and a weight of 10 to 70-75 pounds. The carrier's conveyor network systems will handle and sort regular parcels. Packaging designers should check with their carrier to see what size and weight restrictions they have.
